The Local Authority is responsible for admissions to Chandlers Ridge for children Reception to Year 6 age. Nursery admissions is managed internally within the school. The Published Admission Number (PAN) for Reception is 50. There are currently no consultations to review or change the school’s PAN.
In-year transfers

Visits
Parents and carers considering sending their child to the school are welcome to visit to see the school in action and speak to one of our friendly leadership team!

Nursery Admissions
Children are admitted to our Nursery as they turn three years old, subject to a place being available.
The Nursery team maintains the Nursery waiting list. To add your child’s name to the waiting list, please contact crnursery@chandlersridge.org.uk
Parents and carers can add their child’s name to the waiting list at any time. The list is maintained in date of birth order.
Children who attend Nursery are normally admitted to the school. However, the statutory admissions procedure must be followed before a place in Reception can be offered.

Receptions Admissions

In Year Transfers
In-year transfers are dealt with through Middlesbrough Admissions. Applications to join Chandlers Ridge must be made to the local authority who will liaise with the school before communicating an outcome to you. Further details of the process can be found here:

Secondary School Admissions
In September/October of Year 6, parents must apply for their child’s secondary school. These applications are co-ordinated centrally by the local authority. We strongly recommend parents to visit a range of local secondary schools (visits, open evenings etc) to inform your decision. Please be mindful of application deadlines as these will not be extended.
