School Parliament
At Chandlers Ridge, you might put yourself forward to join our very active School Parliament! You will need to win over the other children with a speech outlining how you will represent your class well!
MPs and Deputy MPs are elected through a fair, democratic vote. Led by a Year 6 Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, your Parliament promotes oracy, young leadership and citizenship. We want you all to take pride in their roles, contributing ideas and driving meaningful school improvement while living out our British Values in action:
- House of Lower School (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2)
- House of Upper School (Years 3-6)
- Presided over by Mrs Murray-Kast as Speaker.
