Leadership Opportunities
At Chandlers Ridge, we promote personal development by providing pupils with opportunities and responsibilities across school.
Through a range of roles, children build confidence, independence and teamwork, learning to lead by example and make a positive contribution to school life.
P.E. Assistants
Our P.E. Assistants support school sport by setting up P.E. equipment, keeping spaces organised and ensuring lessons begin promptly. They also play an active role in running events like Sports Day, promoting teamwork and pride.
Play Leaders
Our UKS2 play leaders act as positive role models, supporting KS1 pupils at playtimes. They lead games, encourage activity and help create a happy, inclusive environment where everyone feels confident to join in.
Reading Buddies
Our reading buddies pair older and younger pupils for 1:1 reading. Older pupils act as positive role models, promoting a love of reading while building confidence and enjoyment for both children.
School Parliament
Our School Parliament is democratically elected, with pupils representing their classes. They play a key role in school improvement and fundraising, placing pupil voice at the heart of our school community.
Student-run Clubs
Our lunchtime clubs, led by passionate pupils, give children the chance to share their interests and skills. They inspire others, build confidence and create opportunities for pupils to learn from one another.
