2026-27 School Term Dates
P.D. Days

PD days are staff training days where teachers develop their practice and improve provision. On these days, school is closed to children to allow staff to focus on professional development. Each school sets their own P.D. day dates – here are ours:

  • Monday 1st September 2026

  • Tuesday 22nd July 2026
Statutory Assessments
  • Reception Baseline Assessment: Within first 6 weeks of starting Reception 
  • Reception Early Years Profile: by Friday 12th June 2026
  • Year 1 Phonics Screening Check: Monday 8th – Friday 12th June 2026
  • Year 2 Phonics Screening Re-Check: Monday 8th – Friday 12th June 2026
  • Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check: Monday 1st – Thursday 11th June 2026
  • Year 6 SATS: Monday 11th – Thursday 14th May 2026
Local Governing Committee Dates

Our Local Governing Committee meets as a full board approximately once per half-term to review key aspects of school performance and development. The Headteacher meets weekly with the Chair of Governors, with updates shared across the committee. Additional meetings are arranged when needed to keep governors fully informed. Link governors also meet with their staff counterparts at least three times a year, producing reports that are shared at full committee meetings to support effective oversight and continuous school improvement.
