School Uniform

• Grey skirt, pinafore, trousers or shorts
  (Optional: red tartan skirt or pinafore)
• Red sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan (Chandlers Ridge logo optional)
• White shirt
• Chandlers Ridge school tie (Year 1 and above)
• Black school shoes – not trainers.

• Black shorts / black jogging bottoms 
• Red round-neck PE t-shirt (Chandlers Ridge logo optional)
• Trainers or plimsolls
• Black zip P.E. top with the Chandlers Ridge logo

Children should come to school in their P.E. kit on their main P.E. day. This allows them to make the most of their lesson time. Children should come in school uniform + trainers on ‘mini P.E.’ days. 

Children must not wear alternative sports clothes during P.E. lessons (e.g. football strips, non-school hoodies, branded active wear etc) 

Children must remove earrings for their P.E. lessons for their own safety. For this reason, we ask that ear piercing takes place at the beginning of the summer holidays so that children are able to take them out independently by September.

Temporary taping is permitted for new piercings only if they have taken a long time to heal. Parents must provide the tape and an explanatory letter for this. Please note, that this is a temporary measure only.

• Jewellery such as bracelets, rings, anklets, necklaces (etc) are not permitted in school. This is to keep children safe. If a child arrives in school wearing such items, they will be asked to remove them. The item will be taken to the school office and parents will be asked to collect them.
  
• Small, plain stud earrings are permitted except in P.E. lessons. Hanging, looped or decorative earrings (e.g. butterflies, flowers etc) are not permitted as they can become caught when children are playing.

• No child should come to school wearing make-up so as to minimise distractions, promote equality and reduce pressure around appearance, helping all pupils feel confident, focused and included. This includes mascara, eye liner, eye shadow, lip stick / gloss, foundation, blush, nail varnish etc.

Families can visit the store to try on items and place orders, or orders can be placed online.

Orders can be delivered to your home (a small delivery charge applies), or delivered to school each Friday and sent home with your child.

Alternatively, families are welcome to purchase their uniform from other suppliers. Non branded items can offer a more cost-effective option.

We encourage families to make use of pre-loved uniform where possible.

Please contact the school office to find out what items we currently have available. Lollipops also stock pre-loved uniform and welcome donations of items that children have grown out of.
