The School Day
Our school day is carefully structured to support learning and wellbeing. It is also planned with safeguarding in mind.
Following consultation with governors and families, the total school week is 32.5 hours.
The school gate opens at 8:35am. Children are greeted warmly by staff as the doors open at 8:45am. Learning begins straight away as children arrive.
The gate closes at 8:55pm. Any child arriving in school after 8:55am must enter through the main entrance and will be marked as late.
Allowing a safe start (window between 8.45am and 8:55am) helps to ease traffic and parking around the school site to keep children safe.
